Overview

Vertical cream postcard with an image of two young smiling children on a small wooden sleigh on a snowy slope. The boy at the rear holds a large wreatch which has '1911' in the centre made up of lots of pink roses. He is wearing a white sweater, navy pants with long black boots and a black helmet. The girl at the front is holding the reigsn of the sleigh with both hands in her lap. She is wearing a pink coat and a burgundy skirt, both with white wool trim, a white wool hat, white stockings and black shoes. 'HAPPINESS / BE YOURS / IN THE / NEW YEAR' is printed towards the bottom right corner. There is a line of trees in the distnace and a house in the far left background.

The reverse is horizontal with the word 'POST CARD' printed in green in the top centre with a vertical line dividing the card in half. To the left of the line is a hand written cursive message in black ink which reads: 'To Dear Uncle / Ken wishing you a happy New Year / From Frank'. To the right it is addressed to 'Mr K. Philp'.
