Australian Air League peaked cap with silver bullion badge
Blue peaked cap with raised padded top bearing the logo of the Australian Air League in silver bullion (wire thread) on the front. It has a black band with a black vinyl strap below and a contrasting light blue braid above. The central logo reads 'AAL' and has garlands of leaves below and outstretched wings either side.
The black strap is held at the sides by two studs and there are two eyelets on each side in the upper part of the cap.
The inside of the cap has a black vinyl band and buff fabric lining. A label is attached to a dark blue piece of fabric in the centre of the inside which gives the maker's name, location and telephone number plus the size of the cap.
The Australian Air League (AAL) is a not-for-profit, civilian operated aviation youth organisation in Australia.
A comprehensive history of the Australian Air League is attached.
