Overview

A coloured photograph of Rokeby Road facing South. The road in the bottom half of the image has been removed, leaving only yellow sand. A blue excavator is scooping up road debris facing North in the middle of the image. There is a man in a blue shirt wearing sunglasses who is sitting down and driving the excavator. On the left side of the photograph there is a man in a blue tank top and blue shorts. On the right side of the photograph there are two piles of yellow sand. Some shopfronts are also visible, and there are three pedestrians walking near these shopfronts; a man in blue jeans and a white top, and a woman in a white top and blue pants, holding hands with a child wearing a pink dress. The Bagot road intersection can be seen further down Rokeby Road. There are six people walking near this intersection, and a white van is partially visible.
Reverse: A printed label reads 'ROKEBY ROAD UPGRADING - , BARKER ROAD TO BAGOT ROAD, 21/1/89'
