Overview

A coloured photograph of Rokeby Road facing North. The bitumen of the road has been removed and there is yellow sand in its place. On the road there is a yellow tractor. The back of a white truck can also be seen on the right side of the image. In front of the yellow sand there are two yellow road signs with black lettering. One reads 'ROAD CLOSED' and the other reads 'PARKING, REAR OF SHOPS - ROWLAND ST' with a black arrow pointing left. On the left side of the image there is a traffic light on a yellow pole showing a red light. Under the traffic light is a yellow sign with black lettering reading 'PEDESTRIANS BEWARE'. Shopfronts are visible on the left and right sides of the road. On the bottom right corner of the image a red date stamp reads ''89'.
Reverse: A printed label reads 'ROKEBY ROAD UPGRADING - , BARKER ROAD TO BAGOT ROAD, 21/1/89'
