Subcollections
Overview

A coloured photograph of Rokeby Road. Shopfronts are visible along both sides of the road. On the right-hand sidewalk there is a yellow street sign with black lettering that reads 'PEDESTRIANS BEWARE'. Two men are partially obscured by this sign. There is no curb on the right side of the road, only yellow sand. There is a yellow tractor in the middle of the road and a front-loader tractor along the left side of the road. Past this tractor the back of a white truck is partially visible. The arm and bucket of a blue excavator is also visible, although it is partly obscured by the yellow tractor. 'KATO WOLFE' is written along the boom of this excavator. On the left side of the photograph there is a pile of cement materials, likely the curb which was removed. A red date stamp on the bottom right corner of the image reads '21 1 '89'.
Reverse: A printed label reads 'ROKEBY ROAD UPGRADING - , BARKER ROAD TO BAGOT ROAD, 21/1/89'
