Overview

A coloured photograph of Rokeby Road facing South. There is a green truck on the left of the image also facing South. The right door of the truck is open. To the left of the truck there are three people; one man wearing a blue tank top and jeans, one man wearing a white shirt and blue shorts, and one person that is partially obscured, as they are standing behind the man in front of them. There are shopfronts along the right side of the image. There is no curb between the shopfronts and the road, only yellow sand. Two men with long hair wearing wide brimmed hats and red vests are standing over this yellow sand. One man is holding a shovel and one man is holding a square item. There are two shovels and a pickaxe on the ground near these men. On the bottom right corner of the photograph, a red date stamp reads '21 1 '89'.
Reverse: A printed label reads 'ROKEBY ROAD UPGRADING - , BARKER ROAD TO BAGOT ROAD, 21/1/89'
