Overview

A coloured photograph of the right side of Rokeby Road, facing North. One white truck, one blue excavator and another blue machine block the right side of the road. The white truck and the blue excavator are pointing South. The excavator is positioned behind the truck, loading sand into the back of the truck. A man in a blue tank top and blue shorts is standing to the right of the truck. The other blue machine is pointing North. A person in a patterned shirt with a wide brimmed hat is standing directly behind the other machine, blocking some of the lettering. Visible black lettering on the back of the machine shows 'K' then 'TO'. A man in a black tank top and grey pants stands to the left of this machine. Shopfronts on the right side of the road are visible. A brick store with a green sign reads 'QUICK AS A FLASH', a white and orange sign reads 'BANK, R&d' and a brick building has a red sign with black lettering that reads 'TIMEWELLS'. The spire of St Joseph's church is visible in the background of the left side of the image. In the bottom right hand corner of the photograph, a red date stamp reads '21 1 '89'.
Reverse: A printed label reads 'ROKEBY ROAD UPGRADING - , BARKER ROAD TO BAGOT ROAD, 21/1/89'
