A 1936 State baseball league ball awarded to J. Haynes (Pitcher) for Most Consistent Player throughout the 1936 season. The ball is covered in cowhide and hand stitched with red thread.

Historical information

This 1936 baseball tells the story of a Western Australian State League A2-grade semi-final game. The match was between Mt Lawley Giants and Burley on Sunday September 6 at Forrest Park. Mt Lawley defeated Burley 27 to 10, however this ball was awarded to J. Haynes, the Burley pitcher, for "Most Consistent Player throughout the 1936 season".
