1878handwritten note, that had been folded in half and subsequently suffered damage along bend.
John Gear was a former convict (no.3119) working at Greenough. As can be seen by this note, Gear was illiterate.
Jane Doran (or Dornan) was born c1853. She married John Gilmore at Greenough in 1878.
