Historical information

John McGrath (1812-78) was formerly a Private in the 87th Regt. He married Elizabeth McMullen in 1847 in Dundee, Scotland, and arrived as an Enrolled Pensioner Guard aboard the "William Jardine" on 01/08/1852. by c1856 he was at Greenough where he was granted two blocks of land.
Charles Jenner (1823-74) was a ticket of leave man (convict no.3109) who by 1860 was working in the Champion Bay area.
