1981 Australian Baseball Team - Intercontinental Cup - Canada

Overview

This colour image of the 1981 Australian Baseball Team was photographed on a playing field in Alberta, Canada. The baseballers are wearing their playing uniform of a short-sleeved, yellow top, with green bands around the neck, waist and edge of the sleeves. Printed in green on the front of the shirt is the word 'Australia' with each player's individual number in the bottom left-hand quadrant. The undershirt is dark green. The white trousers have a green and yellow stripe down the side of each trouser leg. The stirrups are dark green, worn with white socks and shoes. The crown of the flat-top baseball cap has yellow side panels with narrow, horizontal green bands, and a green embroidered letter 'A' on the front. The top panel of the cap and the visor are green.

The three officials are wearing the team's formal uniform of a light tan blazer with a white shirt and Australian team tie, and brown trousers.
