Overview

White cloth elongated pentagon shaped pennant with yellow cloth fringe across the bottom. Navy blue text across top. In middle inside a gold coloured boarder is the illustration of a two story official building with a central tower and four palm trees out the front. Under the middle of the image is the gold and blue cog shaped logo of Rotary International. Blue text on either side of the logo and under it. Bottom line on pennant is in gold. Text [MONTICELLO / Rotary Club] left of logo [DISTRICT / 6940], right of logo [CHARTERED / 1983]. Under logo [MONTICELLO, FLORIDA . U.S.A.]
Top of the pennant folded over a rod and sewn in place. Cone shaped wood caps on ends of rod. Yellow cord tied off at each end of the rod.
On the back is a white manufactures tag with blue text.

Historical information

It was tradition for when Rotary Clubs met they exchanged their club banners. This banner was exchanged from the Rotary Club of Monticello Florida in the USA. They were displayed by the Armadale Neerigen Rotary Club.
