Overview

Cream cloth rectangle shaped pennant with a brown boarder. Top half of pennant is a colour reproduction of a 2nd century BCE mosaic of Positing holding a staff and flanked by fish. Blue text under image [ANTAKYA / ROTARY KULÜBÜ]. In the middle of the bottom half is the gold and blue Rotary International logo. Blue text on either side of logo and under it. Left text [U.R. / 2430.Bolge], right text [Kulup No: / 028476]. Text under logo [ANTAKYA - HATAY / TÜRKÍYE / 1986].
Top of pennant folded over and stitched in place. Through this white cord threaded through and glued into place to form a hanging loop.

Historical information

It was tradition for when Rotary Clubs met they exchanged their club banners. This banner was exchanged from the Rotary Club of Antakya Hatay in Turkey. They were displayed by the Armadale Neerigen Rotary Club.
