Overview

Rectangular white pennant with pointed bottom edge, trimmed with yellow fringing. top edge is connected to wooden rod with wooden cone shaped knobs on the end. A yellow cord is knotted on each end of the rod, with a length of cord ending with a yellow tassel each side.
Navy blue text [ROTARY INTERNATIONAL] crosses the top of the pennant, below is a blue and gold circle. Overlaying the circle is a map of Florida, with text [DISTRICT 6940] written in top part of the map, that shows the district borders. The lower part of the Florida map has the Rotary International symbol within.
Thirteen yellow lines run from the top right corner of the state map towards text [NORTHWEST] circling the inner edge of the blue/gold circle. Text [FLORIDA] is written on diagionally opposite side of inner circle edge.
A section of white takes up the inner circle's lower left corner, with a image of three gold coloured reed like plants on top of the white section.
Below the circle is navy blue text [DISTRICT 6940/ FLORIDA, USA]

Historical information

It was tradition for when Rotary Clubs met they exchanged their club banners. This banner was exchanged from the Rotary Club of District 6940 in Northwest Florida. They were displayed by the Armadale Neerigen Rotary Club.
