PENNANT - ROTARY CLUB OF TARSUS

Overview

A rectangular pennant with white cord running through the top of the pennant and forming a handle. Along the sides and across the bottom of the pennant is a blue strip forming a border. Inside the border is white. At the top middle is the rotary symbol a golden and blue water wheel, with [ROTARY / INTERNATIONAL] written in golden text. Below the symbol is blue text that reads [TARSUS / ROTARY KULUBU / 1982] with Tarsus being in bolder and larger lettering. Below the text is a gold coloured stone arch with foliage growing at its base. with the text [TURKIYE] written below.
The back is pure white and see through.

Historical information

It was tradition for when Rotary Clubs met they exchanged their club banners. This banner was exchanged from the Rotary Club of Tarsus in Turkey. They were displayed by the Armadale Neerigen Rotary Club.
