MEMORIAL: SUBIACO MUNICIPAL HONOUR ROLL
Two large wooden boards with vertical lists of 1015 names inscribed on brass plaques.
a) At the top of the board in raised wooden letters are the words 'THE GREAT WAR 1914-1919'. Below are 7 vertical lists of names inscribed on individual brass plaques. The names of servicemen are listed alphabetically by surname from 'AARONS, D.S.' at the top of the list on the left side, to 'LILLINGSTON, L.' in the bottom right corner.
b) At the top of the board in raised wooden letters are the words ''CITIZENS OF SUBIACO WHO ANSWERED THE EMPIRE'S CALL'. Below are 6 vertical lists of names inscribed on individual brass plaques. The names of servicemen are listed alphabetically by surname from 'LILLINGSTON, R.' at the top of the list on the left side, to 'YOUNG, R.C' near the bottom right corner. Below this is a gap and then a plaque inscribed with 'NURSES', followed by 6 names of local nurses who served:

The Municipal Honour Board was housed in the Subiaco Community Centre for a number of years. It was moved to the museum collection in 2024, when the building was scheduled for demolition.
The Subiaco Community Centre was built in 1967 and was home to the Subiaco RSL, until the merger with the Shenton Park RSL relocated the combined RSL to the Shenton Park Community Centre.
