MEMORIAL: SUBIACO RETURNED SERVICES LEAGUE (RSL) HONOUR BOARD

A large, rectangular wooden honour board made of dark-stained timber with a shaped, crest-like pediment at the top centre. The pediment features a circular enamel or painted emblem of the Returned Services League (RSL), consisting of a crown, laurel wreath and central badge motif. Flanking the emblem is gold-painted text reading 'CITY OF SUBIACO' on the left and 'RSL SUB BRANCH' on the right.

The main body of the board has a polished timber surface with a decorative border of stepped moulding. The body of the board is fitted with multiple horizontal brass name plates arranged in two vertical columns, a third column is unused. The title plate at the top of the centre column reads, 'CITY OF SUBIACO SUB BRANCH R.S.L. / PAST PRESIDENTS'. Each plate is rectangular with rounded ends and is secured with two small brass screws. The left column contains earlier entries (1919–1947), while the right column records subsequent office holders through to 2019. Engraved on each plate is the name of a past president, and where relevant, their military honours (eg. V.C., D.C.M., M.C.)

The crest-like pediment at the top is possibly a later addition.
