Overview

Circular cloth patch, embroidered edge and an annular area with the name in black stitching. Inner panel has the green leaf motif to the left and the red fire motif to the right.
Remnants of the elastic retainer band remain.

Historical information

Cloth patch issued to members of the Bedfordale Volunteer Bushfire Brigade by the Town of Armadale. This patch was issued to Cam Clay a long time member od the Brigade.

Statement of significance

Was worn by Cam Clay in between c1980 and 1985. Cam was a member of the Bedfordale Volunteer Bushfire Brigade from c1972-2013. Cam was passionate about saving and improving the local environment as well as doing community service with organisations such as the Bedfordale Volunteer Bushfire Brigade. In 2011 he was awarded the City of Armadale's Citizen of the Year Award.
