Overview

A green and white book about the same size as a book of matches containing five sticks with impregnated basil seeds.
The outside cover features the Growing Armadale plus the City of Armadale logo on a white background. Growing Armadale logo features text in green then black [GROWING / Armadale] on the left of the text is a solid black human figure with a green tie sitting on the top of the G holding a long telescope that goes halfway across the top word. Standing next to the A is a second figure looking up towards the first figure. They are wearing a green hard hat and a green shirt under black overalls. There is a shovel at their feet. To the right of the text is are leaves growing vertically out of a small black briefcase.
The other side features the same images on a green background plus the City of Armadale web address.

Historical information

In 2015 the City of Armadale undertook a community survey to gather information for its Strategic Community Plan. The community consultation project was called 'Growing Armadale' and included a variety of consultation activities including a postal survey as well as promotional stickers and seed packets. The Strategic Community Plan was released by the City in 2016 to provide a vision for the City based on community expectations. The plan looked at what services the City currently provide and may have to provide in the future based around the themes of Community, Environment, Economy and Leadership.
