PAPER PLANES D.V.D. CASE

Overview

A black, rectangular plastic D.V.D. case with a paper insert under a clear plastic cover.
The paper insert on the front features a coloured picture of four children leaping in the air while throwing paper planes, also shows the title [PAPER / PLANES] plus a list of actors and a sub title [IF AT FIRST YOU DONT SUCCEED, FLY, FLY AGAIN]. The back cover gives the outline of the story in white on a blue background, five frames from the movie, plus relevant information regarding the movie and its features.
Inside the case is a round section with a raised centre that holds the D.V.D in place. On the left section of the inside cover is a sheet advertising the features of D.V.D + DIGITAL ULTRAVIOLET. The features allow for the purchaser to sign up and access the D.V.D contents via smartphone, T.V., tablet, or PC. The advertisement also acts as a instruction guide on how to set this up.

Historical information

The film "Paper Planes" was filmed on the doorstep of Roleystone Community College. As the school has strong ties with the film industry, some 15 students were chosen to act as extras. The film represents the Western Australian film industry and its use of local locations. The film also represents the achievemnts of the Roleystone Community College's film program.
