CAMERA, 35 MM - CINE-KODAK

Overview

A slim, rectangular metal case with a carry strap attached to the upper surface, supported by buckles. Below the strap in a recess is text as per the maker's mark section.

The left side is detachable via a lock to access the film mechanism and also has a rotary guide to exposure the camera may require.

The right side has the winder key to provide motivation for the film feed and near the bottom lower corner is the shutter release button. Both sides are covered in a leather type material as is the rear and underside of the case.

The front of the case has the lens assembly and view finder plus some text.

Historical information

Cine-Kodak Eight movie camera was introduced about 1932 using modified 16mm film. Later versions of the camera used 8mm film which yielded fifty feet of movie images.
