CUT WORK, BAG
Exquisite hedebo embroidery on front of a white cotton drawstring made by Yvonne Bingley, one of the Guild’s finest embroiderers.
Front design has scrolls outlined in stem stitch. In each scroll is a hedebo motif worked in buttonhole stitch.
Draw string twisted cord in perle cotton is looped through buttonholed bars.
Top edge has two rows of needlelace (buttonholed) edging.
Lined with white patterned silk fabric. Seam is centre back.
