Overview

A small piece of shi sha embroidery which could have been used for home decoration. It has a triangular gold stitched design with shi sha inserted between. A fringe of gold beads and tiny pink tassels. On the note on the back of the item it says ‘Day 4 Bhirindara Village, 30.1.97 Gujarat Muslim Shepherd’s (Raisa Putra), Muslim men do gold and silver thread work. Old piece of work. 100’.
