IRISH CROCHET, MAT
A particularly fine example of Irish Crochet.
Two mats with gently rounded rectangles of cream linen surrounded by an edging of tiny clones knots in a richly worked ground.
At each end is a motif consisting of a rose and two leaves and a triple layer rose and bud.
