Historical information

Fredrick William Chambers was born in Kent, England. He first lived in Victoria before settling in Western Australia c1895. Frederick was a surveyor and a Councillor of Claremont from 1899-1900, 1901-1907, 1910-1913, 1921-1922 .

Married to Alice Elizabeth Shade (c1863-1924), the couple had three children: Edgar Theodore Owen (b. 1903), Mabel Winnifred Florence Genevieve (b. 1906) and Alice Ethel (Tissie) (b1885)

Frederick lived initially at Maesbury, Mount St, Claremont until 1900, then at 28 Queenslea Drive, Claremont and finally at Lynton, 1 Broome Street, Cottelsoe.
