From a collection of eight pieces of crested china, made in Subiaco by Australian Fine China, formerly Bristile.
Flat white plate, blue crest Royal Brighton Yacht Club, blue line around rim.
Base: 'Wembley Ware, Made in Australia', intertwined 'B&W' (signifies Wembley Ware produced by Brisbane and Wunderlich).
The first pottery on the Subiaco site was Calyx Pottery, 1921 - 1941, followed by Bristile. The company was re-named Australian Fine China in 1992 and will move from Subiaco to Canning Vale in 2006. Owned by Mary Alice Beard owner occupier of house at 6 Union Street Subiaco. House purchased by Mrs Beard c1960
