From a collection of eight pieces of crested china, made in Subiaco by Wembley Ware, formerly Bristile.
Small white butter dish, Royal Perth Hospital.
Base: Trade mark black, Wembley Quality Ware, entwined W B, Crown above.

Historical information

The first pottery on the Subiaco site was Calyx Pottery, 1921 - 1941, followed by Bristile. The company was re-named Australian Fine China in 1992 and will move from Subiaco to Canning Vale in 2006.
Owned by Mary Alice Beard owner occupier of house at 6 Union Street Subiaco. House purchased by Mrs Beard c1960
