Overview

The photograph features the cast members of the production on stage in costume on a set that appears to resemble a drawing room. There are six male actors and four female actors. The set has several large lounge chairs, carved wooden tables and chairs, with photographs and flowers displayed around the walls. The signatures of the various participants appear on the board under the image. Some can be made out: Alec Shand; Mabel O'Shaunnessy; E.L. Parrant; Ivan Galbraith; Queenie Chugg; L. Campbell-Miller; Ilma Weslan; A. Holst. The Subiaco Civic Dramatic Club was formed on 17 July 1929 and many well-known residents took some part in Club activities.
