1939The image shows the test flight of 'The Dalton' glider in 1939, with Jack Dalton flying. The plane has just left the ground. Another man stands on the ground looking up at the glider and there is a young boy in the background. There is a plane on the ground at the left of the image and a motor car to the right. Thick bush can be seen in the background . This event probably took place at the W.A. Flying Club (Inc) which was situated north of the sewage works of Perry Lakes.
