WASHBOARD - METAL
c. 1910 - 1940Frame is made from copper tubing soldered in the rectangular shape with the sides extending past the the lower crossbar with rubber stoppers fitted to the base.
The wash board is corrugated sheet aluminium fitted to the frame and soldered in place.
Was used in the Roleystone area by the Bently family to wash clothes in th early to mid-1900s.
