c. 1920Cast iron model in the shape of a foot with tapered rectangular tang to fit into the base or stand. Number [5] moulded underside of foot.
Donated by Marjorie 'Joy' Roberts who was born in Kelmscott in 1917 and spent her entire life living on the family orchard. Joy was born to Stanley and Cathleen Roberts who moved to Kelmscott in c1905. She had two older siblings, Eileen and Grace. It is though the show last came from the family orchard. It is not known if it was used to repair shoes or was an item collected by a member of the family.
