BUTTONHOOK - FROM DRESSING CASE KIT

Overview

Metal cylindrical shaft that tapers in at one end where it is curved over to form a hook. Opposite end tapers out and is then attached to a cylindrical bulbous handle. Makers mark featuring a lion and text stamped on handle.

Historical information

The dressing set was given to Mrs L. Furness in 1913 as a farewell gift when she left England for Australia.
