Overview

Black leather rectangular case, gold trim on lid. Inside lid has green satin lining and inside of base has green velvet lining. The base of the case and the lid have three sets of indentations moulded in the shape of the items stored in the case.
Ends of case rounded with a indentation in the middle. Case opens on long hinge along the back long edge

Historical information

The dressing set was given to Mrs L. Furness in 1913 as a farewell gift when she left England for Australia.
