POSTCARD: PINK COVERS, SENT BY JIM DENNIS FOR HIS WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Overview

Horizontal cream postcard with paintings of pink clovers, two on the left side and one toward the bottom right corner. There is a green rectangle that frames typed text which reads 'Wishing you many / returns of this day / that has brought / you such happiness.'

The reverse has a cursive message written ink black ink, addressed to Lillian Dennis from her husband Jim Dennis - 'To my Wife on the 19th ainnversary of / our wedding 14/9/29'

The message in rhyme reads:

'Nineteen years have passed us by / since we started life together, / and though we're getting older now / It's all been sunny weather. / For I've loved you and you've loved me, / To please each other's been our aim, / So we could not help but happy be, / and may it always be the same. ' / Is the wish sincere of the one you love dear, / your special him, / your Husband Jim'
