This whitework fine linen teacloth worked with a fine abroder cotton thread, displays a range of stitches and a torchon bobbin lace edging.
Embroidered table linen displayed the skills of the lady of the house and were an important household accessory when afternoon teas were part of a lady’s social calendar in the first half of 20th century in Australia.
