Leslie Hutchinson lived in Maylands and joined the army at the age of fourteen'. He served in the Claremont 'C' Company, 44th Australian Infantry Battalion, AIF in France and was killed in action at Villers-Bretonneux, August 1918. Photograph was taken in Perth prior to Pte Hutchinson's embarkation.
