BEADWORK, AMULET

Overview

A knitted beaded amulet, hand made by a WA Guild member in Perth in early 2000s.

Purple cotton thread, iridescent purple glass seed beads in the knitted section and decorative purple beads in fringe.

Purple twisted cotton cord to hang around the neck.

An amulet is an object, either natural or manmade, worn as a charm to guard against evil spirits, sickness, witchcraft.
