Overview

The photograph features a brick and corrugated iron roof house with gables on the corner of Heytesbury Road and Kershaw Street. A verandah with turned timber posts wraps around two sides of the house with a lattice enclosure at the left. On either side of the front verandah steps are flower urns. On the side of the house facing Kershaw Street is an asbestos addition. Trees and shrubs shield the verandah from the street. There is a low picket fence and gate painted white with a telephone post right centre on the verge. The side of the house to the left shows above the picket fence.
