16 Heytesbury Road at corner of Heytesbury Road and Kershaw St with the entrance facing Kershaw Street.
A brick and iron house with a wrap around bull-nosed verandah. The large verandah is enclosed with lattice work on the left side. The window under the gable at the right is shaded by a wooden awning. There is a small room which has been added to the house at the rear right.
Ornamental urns are on the steps at the entrance. There is a low picket fence painted white at the front with a gate on the corner and a letterbox.
The house is obscured by shrubs, trees and an electricity post on the corner.
No 75 Heytesbury Road was owned and built by Mr David Kennedy in 1904. The Kennedy family took in boarders. His daughter Miss Kennedy lived in the house until about 1971. The house had been extensively renovated in the '30s being cement rendered and the addition of the French doors at the front. In 1976 there was a brick addition to the back of the property and extensive internal alterations. The house was demolished in March/April 2005.
