c. 1910The copy postcard features a picture taken in the Municipal Gardens, Subiaco (now Rankin Gardens). The photo shows half the rotunda on the left hand edge with two children sitting on the steps and another person sitting inside. The rotunda has a peaked corrugated iron roof with turned posts and rails. The rotunda is surrounded by a low fence and several small shrubs. A woman in Edwardian dress and hat stands on the footpath leading to the rotunda. There is a large expanse of lawn at the forefront of the picture with shrubs and half grown pines in the background. At the top of the image are the words: 'Wishing you a Happy Christmas'. At the bottom are the words: 'Municipal Gardens, Subiaco, W.A.'
