46 Heytesbury Road, Subiaco - a brick and tile house with verandah.
The photo is taken from an angle to feature the front door. The verandah is supported by simply carved white posts with a white border. It is enclosed at the left with a small room.
There is a gable at the right and underneath a bay window with a white ledge and vertical-horizontal lattice inset.
There is a white picket fence at the front. Trees and shrubs partly obscure the verandah.
No 75 Heytesbury Road was owned and built by Mr David Kennedy in 1904. The Kennedy family took in boarders. His daughter Miss Kennedy lived in the house until about 1971. The house had been extensively renovated in the '30s being cement rendered and the addition of the French doors at the front. In 1976 there was a brick addition to the back of the property and extensive internal alterations. The house was demolished in March/April 2005.
