On the back of the postcard handwritten in blue ink is "R.A. Coventry Clive St after 1914-18 war" and handwritten in pencil at the bottom of the postcard "RSL Parade Clive St."
On the back of the postcard printed in black lettering is "POST CARD" and underneath this line are two columns with headings "CORRESPONDENCE" and "ADDRESS ONLY" and in the top right hand corner a square with the words "KODAK" at the top and bottom and the words 'AUSTRAL' on the sides. This square marks the position to put a stamp.
