Overview

A view of the southern side of Clive Street, Katanning after the railway track. Going down the street from the top left is a brick building which has a tin roof, a wooden door with a semi circular window above the door and a casement window. On the side of this building is a white painted sign on the brickwork and in dark red letters is 'CROWNLANDS AGENCY BUSINESS TRANSACTED FOR The AGRICULTURAL BANK & FORESTRY BANK'.

The next two brick buildings have a common veranda roofline which is supported by wooden posts. On the front of the gable of the third building is 'W.M. BAKER BUTCHER'.

The fourth and fifth buildings are single storey buildings which are hidden by a tree. The sixth building is a single storey building and on the front of the building is a sign of which the only word that is decipherable is 'TAILORS'.

The seventh building is a two storey brick building which has a veranda and wooden posts to support the veranda. On the side of this building is a white painted sign on the brickwork and in dark letters is '?. J. RODGERS GROCER, DRAPER & GENERAL STOREKEEPER'.
There are electricity lines and poles going down the street as well as two trees which are probably only two metres high.
