First Warren House
c. 1890 - 1900A sepia photograph of a house made of wooden tree trucks, the chimney is made from tree trunks bundled together to form a pointed top, the roof is of some type of canvas and held down with one wooden plank. To the left of the house is a wagon with towels hung over it. In the foreground is a camp fire and there are utensils next to the bottom of the chimney.
The Warren Family came to Western Australia from South Australia in 1889 of there abouts.

On the back of the photograph handwritten in blue ink is "First Warren home in W.A. (Mr J.C. Warren)" and below this in pencil is "'WARNAMINUP' Elliot Warren's first house (Cicely Blackall 6/4/88)"
