Overview

The black and white photographs (a-h) were taken on the occasion of the opening of the extensions to the Council Chambers. June Craig, MLA, Minister for Local Government, opened the extensions. Richard Diggins, Mayor of Subiaco, is present among others. The function was held in the gardens to the south of the Council Chambers. The photographs feature Mrs Craig arriving at the venue; VIPs sitting on the platform erected in front of the Chambers surrounded by seated guests; Mrs Craig on the steps of the Chambers shaking hands with the Mayor; Mrs Craig pulling aside the curtains from the plaque; Mrs Craig addressing the guests from the platform; several photographs of the seated guests.
