Two loose foolscape-size pages, with handwriting filling both sides, were found folded together within the pages of this notebook. These papers were found at page 85, they seem contemporary with the notebook, the handwriting matching that of Justice Archibald Burt it is unconfirmed whether these pages were placed here by Archibald Paull Burt or one of his relatives posthumously. Both pages are unsigned; the text is providing opinions on matters associated with libel, using precedents to reinforce statements of position.

(1) First loose page: Heading, 'Libel'. Text begins with a definition of libel and follows with discussion on the actions a defendant might consider.

(2) Second loose page: Heading, 'Justification, Plea of Damages' Text discusses the enhancement of damages in the case of libel.
