john Maley, with support from Solomon Cook, established a flour mill at Greenough in 1861 on land belonging to George Shenton.
This docket book contains stubs for docket nos.12-145, dated 24/02/1862 to 8/09/1862.
It contains information on amount of flour collected for G Shenton and the carter's signature.

Information can be gained from this book on who was growing wheat and how much, at Greenough in 1862. These farmers were in debt to Shenton, and payment was taken out in flour in lieu of cash. The dockets also provide details as to who was carting the flour.
