Historical information

"The Prefect Camp Song" by Vanna and Manna to the tune of Love Is All Around.

Verse one
A bus load of prefects all went on a camp
There was Greg, the two Taryns, Tracey, Wherett and Man
Not to mention Deni and Marnie, Van and Claude as well.
They were off to Point Perron, with Rudders driving like hell.

Chorus
You know they love you they always will
They are your prefects that live on the hill
They wear gold badges and cant do a lot
For this Union ban has got them in a knot.

Verse two
They broke the ice with games, the night was looking up
But how would you feel with 20 cents in your butt (you had to be there)
The Haka they performed and Manuao was quite proud
This young man named Roger really scared the crowd.

Verse three
Talking in his sleep Wherett was hypnotic
But if you ask me I think it’s quite erotic
Marnie had a fall and landed in the dirt
Though it wasn't her elbow that wasn't actually hurt.

Verse four
Trace ate plates of ice cream and she was still going strong.
With the truck loads of sugar she could never go wrong
Claude looked neat and tidy even his hair sat well
But when he took off his socks Jesus Christ what a smell

Verse five
Denise our head girl thought that she could become some one
Rudders became our father and Deni she was our mum
Taryn O was the quiet one she didn't make a sound
Though when the games were played she really let her hair down

Verse six
Greg was playing with Taryn outside the dining hall
Now don’t you get erotic, they were only playing football
Walker Texas Ranger dropped in to say hello
What a fab square dancer he could really dolsy doe

Chorus
That was their camp, so what do you think?
More things did happen but my pen's out of ink
They sang ate and drank (cordial) and nothing went wrong
And the best thing about it is that they all got to bond
