BSHS Prefects 2004

On the December 1st 2003, the Prefects for 2004, Year 12 coordinator, well organised Mr Knott; accompanied by the lovely Miss Winwood and the funny Mr Waddy, departed from Bunbury Senior High School at 1:00pm for Prefect Camp in Logue Brook.

All prefects were prepared for an adventurous and exciting 3 day camp, little did we know that not only was this a time of showing leadership skills and cooperation, it was actually a FAT CAMP!!

We arrived at Logue Brook and the fact that we were completely isolated from the outside world for 3 days was a haunting issue. However to our surprise, most mobile phones received coverage, and therefore all girls were happy and content with the environment.

As a team we completed many things such as abseiling, raft building, low ropes and ‘team work’ activities all to make us work effectively in our roles as the prefects of Bunbury Senior High School.

We attended workshops that were about our duties, commitments - all about what we had let ourselves in for! When it came to Mr Knott’s spiel about prefect tasks for this year - Charlie Grech had to be reminded to keep consciousness and listen to what was being said.

Overall, prefect camp was an awesome experience and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thankyou to Mr Knott, Miss Winwood and Mr Waddy for organising the camp, you made it worth while!
