Overview

A beautiful, dainty Maltese bobbin lace handkerchief made by donor’s mother,
Myna Charis Tiller (1895-1968) as part of her trousseau in Western Australia.

Cream circular silk fabric 170 mm diameter, is surrounded by two bands of Maltese lace.
First band is a latticework of tiny leaves in a daisy pattern.
Second band is the network of lacey circles with a daisy flower in the centre, creating a scalloped edge.
